Activities this week.

So, we have been very busy learning about fruit! We have been looking at it, smelling it, tasting it, and feeling it. All of this has helped us to learn new words such as, "sour".
In amongst learning about fruit, we have also been carrying out learning based on our own interests.

Here are some snaps of recent activities in RJ.

 Yao Yao wants to make a basket like Handa's. She uses ribbon and tape. 

 Zoe and Paimok make teeny-weeny tangerines using playdough and pipe cleaners. 

 What a beautiful castle! 

 Samut has been practicing his drawing skills this week. He is very good at drawing in straight lines. 

 Aussie makes a stingray and then finds a book to carry out some research. 

 Yao Yao draws a banana by observing. 

 Alice enjoys copying fruit labels. 

 Pim makes a tower using her strong fingers. 

 The children like listening to Handa's Surprise on the PC. They all showed good focus and attention. 

 Fang shows good concentration as she draws on paper plates. 

 Atom makes tangerines using playdough and pipe cleaners. 

 Caio spends some time observing the plastic fruit and comparing it to real fruit. 

Aussie and Alice practice fruit cutting. 

 Atom investigates plastic fruit.

Pheem loves the smell of the juicy, sweet pineapple. 

Zoe investigates what an avocado smells like. 

Pheem compares the plastic orange to the real orange. 

Pheem uses the vocab card to read the different labels. He uses picture clues to decode words. 

Pueng investigates the smell of each fruit. 

Kor-Bua joins Pueng in her investigations.

Mew likes to smell the fruit. He couldn't smell the banana though as the skin was still on. 

Fang really liked the smell of the gauva. 

Then she tried to cut it...she likes the taste too! 

Atom experiments to see which fruits are heavier. 

Uh-oh! Some fruits were very heavy!

The children work with Kru Paan to re-tell the story of Hnada.

We have a new easel! The children enjoyed mark-making with chalk and board pen. 

Pheem copies our 'b' words. He is able to read some of them. 

Yao Yao prepares for a birthday party.
