Rain!

Rain is vital for our survival and the health of plants and animals. In our current topic we are studying the book 'Rain' by Manje Stojic. The story is set on an African plain and tells the tale of the rain cycle.

In class we have been very busy starting our gardening project with Year 1. We have been planting various seeds and caring for them by watering them daily and even talking to them! (apparently talking to plants is good for their growth!)

Below are some of the activities we have been carrying out. You can recreate these at home as they are all very simple to set up and manage.
