WEEK 12: November 14-18th 2016
Writing A Fairy Tale. Students had to analyze the story of Goldilocks, identifying the plot, setting, beginning, middle and end.
Cooperation Puzzles. Students worked in pre-selected groups to complete puzzles cooperatively through communication, listening and patience skills.

This week we learnt about and identifying
the setting, problems and resolution in a story. Students chose their own
character, setting and conflict to design their story next week.

Next week is exam
week, so we will complete some assessments with writing a fairy tale from the
student’s own ideas.

This week in maths we have been
recapping the concepts we have covered so far in preparation for our
assessments next week.

Inquiry
|
This week we continued our inquiry into
storytelling and the students are beginning to plan their own stories from
their own imagination. We have also continued with our singing rehearsals and
began acting rehearsals for our upcoming production.

Deadline for costumes to be brought into school has passed, if you have
not brought your child’s costume to school then please do so as soon as
