Term 2- week 11: March 20th-24th 2017

We arrived in about an hour and 15 minutes.

Y2 Weekly Update:

Week 12 2017

	This Week	Next Week
English	This week in English we planned and wrote our own Non-Chronological reports.	We will do some peer and self assessment of our reports and finish the term with some Easter related activities.
Math	We looked at numbers from 101 to 200 and compared them. We also recapped using the symbols < and > to denote whether a number is more than or less than compared to another number. Lastly we recapped adding two 2 digit numbers involving money.	Use doubles and number bonds to add three 1-digit numbers; use number facts to 10 and 20 in number stories; find complements to multiples of 10; understand subtraction as difference and find this by counting up; find small differences either side of a multiple of 10
Inquiry	We had an amazing trip to Ancient Siam City. We reflected on what we learned.from the trip and throughout the unit by working on our Inquiry books. We made questions to ask our grandparents and parent over the weekend	We will finish our unit of inquiry and discuss what action to take
