Term 2- week 10: March 13th-17th 2017

We had a great week this week continuing to research and plan for our non-chronological reports on animals.  Student will begin their final draft next week.

Students also enjoyed learning how to use the oxford owl online books website which we will be introducing into guided reading next week.

--Students presented their Timelines to the class.--

Spring is in the air! Students have brought in some lovely flowers from home to decorate our tree! After finding an old bird's nest outside, the students decided we should put one of our toy eggs inside as well.

Students also found a seed outside and have planted it and are enjoying watching it grow.

Students have enjoyed choosing inventions from the past which they feel are important today.  We then looked at the progression of these inventions over time through organizing photos and discussing what we have learnt.
