This week we took a closer look at the information from our Health Journals and organized the information to find out more.
This also got our results back from the Teachers that the students chose to send their Healthy Living Quiz to and loved to see how the teachers did.

This week, we continued our good work on persuasive texts and
the OREO method. We are also reviewing handwriting as well as reading and
writing strategies such as “chunky monkey”.

Next week we will be doing plenty of book
week related activities.

Maths
|
This week we have been learning about numbers and comparing
numbers, whether it is using a landmarked line, < or > or by
identifying 10 more or less on a 100 square.

Recap what we have covered so far and carry
out some assessments

Inquiry
|
We have started going further in our inquiry and the students
have chosen a project that they would like to do in order to share their
knowledge of health and wellbeing - the choices were to create a show, story
or poster about health and well being.
